National Centre for Oncology
Building
A few kilometres outside of the capital of Port of Spain, Bouygues Bâtiment Trinidad & Tobago is working on behalf of the Urban Development Corporation to build the leading cancer treatment centre in the independent Caribbean islands. Designed by Farrow, the Canadian architect firm, the building will span 7,000 m2 over three storeys and will be entirely devoted to the treatment of cancer, kitted out with the most cutting-edge medical equipment. This key national project is part of the country's renewal programme for its ageing healthcare infrastructure, which is now almost 30 years old.
