Bouygues Construction signs a partnership agreement to combat exclusion with the "Act Against Exclusion" Foundation
Bouygues Construction has just signed a partnership agreement with the "Act Against Exclusion" Foundation, FACE (Fondation Agir contre l'Exclusion).
This agreement constitutes another step forward for Bouygues Construction's inclusion policy. It will enable the Group to make further strides with regards to its inclusion initiative and to bring together the many initiatives launched by its subsidiaries in a more coherent approach.
The company has set itself the objective of using inclusion as a source of long term recruitment. Bouygues Construction is hoping that those recruited under the social inclusion clauses of public procurement contracts can enjoy better support and become long-term members of its teams. The Group's ambition is to use the inclusion policy as a lever for recruitment by setting up a virtuous circle in which those in situations of exclusion can return to the employment market on a long-term basis.
The partnership includes a scheme to ‘professionalize' the Group's staff using training modules developed with FACE's help. Another scheme will give all the Bouygues Construction entities access to the national FACE network in order to implement and highlight their inclusion initiatives.
In March 2012, as part of the corporate patronage policy run through its Terre Plurielle foundation, Bouygues Construction signed a partnership agreement with FACE to improve the employment prospects of the long term unemployed.
