Our construction and operational activities inject life into the territories. In the areas where we develop projects, we create direct or indirect jobs and transfer a great deal of know-how. In France and worldwide, we apply the "integration, success, employment"  virtuous circle. Thus, in 2013, 46,000 hours dedicated to professional integration were recorded within the context of construction of the Nord Franche-Comté hospital. For this project, 8 young people were recruited on professional training contracts. They benefited from a 6-month training course to obtain a formworker qualification. An employment unit was also integrated into the site.
In 2014, we chose to make this corporate citizen commitment official by signing the societal and social pact for general building and civil engineering companies brought together within the EGF BTP. We also signed a partnership with the FACE (Fondation Agir Contre l’Exclusion/Act Against Exclusion Foundation") recognised as a public utility. The aim: to professionalise our employees within a work-experiences context on the sites and promote the implementation of integration requirements. In practical terms, this partnership has enabled us to offer our employees training, practical tools and services customised around professional integration.

In France and worldwide, our contribution to improving the living conditions of local communities focuses on 3 key areas:

•  social ties and community aid: donations of equipment, food, vaccination campaigns, disability awareness operations, etc.,
•  education and integration: by stimulating the curiosity of young people, giving students experience of the world of work and introducing people to trades in the construction industry,
•  improvement of the living environment: refurbishing schools, rebuilding homes in disaster-stricken areas (in Haiti, for example), and promoting access to housing for the most underprivileged, etc.

Our corporate foundation, Terre Plurielle, supports our community aid projects by promoting access to healthcare, education and integration for disadvantaged people. It acts by financially supporting projects or by providing skills sponsorships. Since its creation in 2008, Terre Plurielle has helped to set up 150 projects sponsored by 185 employees.
